Description
A cheaper alternative to the Instax 210, the Polaroid 545 is operated manually. A sheet of Instax Wide film goes into the plastic sleeve (included); with the 545 unlocked, the sleeve holding the film is fed into the holder. The holder is locked and the user slowly pulls the sleeve until it’s completely free of the holder (a good pull lasts between 5-10 seconds).
Please note that this is an experimental method of developing Instax Wide film. Because the second of the two rollers in the 545 is slightly shorter than the top roller, you may get an undeveloped or patchy border ranging from one to four millimeters along the edges of the your film (the edges perpendicular to the developing pod).
